  The SCPU is a self contained, hydraulically powered fixturing system. There is no external hydraulic reservoir, pump or hoses to deal with. Everything is contained within the fixture. You no longer have to rely on your employee’s to connect and disconnect hoses, open and close valves, pressurize and depressurize the system. The same applies when the fixture moves back out of the machine. The CNC machine does it all and with no modifications to your existing or new machines.
   
 

This system eliminates human error that can occur with the standard hydraulic fixture configuration that is most commonly used in the industry today. This eliminates the chance for a hydraulic spill, the chance an operator could trip over the pump or hoses, forget to charge the fixture, over or under pressurize the system and forget to disconnect the hydraulic hose before the pallet moves the fixture back into the machine.

When you first see this system in action you will be amazed at the simplicity, speed and the compact size of the SCPU. This system can be designed with two, three and four functional sides, depending on your needs, for a horizontal application.

ELIMINATES HUMAN ERRORS—PARTS CLAMPED AT SAME PRESSURE EVERY TIME!

The fixture plates are independent of the hydraulic fixture system (SCPU). The plates are connected to the SCPU via a quick change system and the hydraulic connection between the fixture plate and the SCPU is made at that time as well via a hydraulic coupler system. You can design and build your own fixture plates to accommodate your parts or Kirsan Engineering can custom build them for you.

You will see as we did, that this will increase the speed of loading and unloading parts as well as having peace of mind, knowing that your fixture is fully charged and your parts are clamped at the same pressure each and every time.

An additional feature that is offered is a pressure monitoring system. When added to the SCPU, this can stop the machine in cycle, if pressure drops to a level that you deem is to low to hold your parts in the fixture safely.
